Melding music and art brings to life the true spirit of Rebis. On Saturday, December 17th, come to the Columbia City Theatre (AKA Lish House) and hear FREq (Iboga Records). Deep, slick, and progressive are the fundamentals of the latest material from this phenomenal producer. Add to the lineup the only Iboga Records DJ in the United States, Osiris Indriya, plus opening glitched out downtempo by Jeisah, live trance of Etienne and the beating Psytrance spinning of Spektra and you’ve got a sonic symphony of electronic beauty. When you’re not dancing with your eyes closed, you’re marveling at the transfigurative art work of Eric Nez, visionary expressions of Julie Starling and psychedelic paintings of Attila Morpheus. You’re definitely in for a night of uncontrollable dancing… and who knows, you might just walk home with a painting.
Originals and prints from each artist will be on sale.
Saturday, December 17th
Music starts at 9pm.
21+ are welcome

Deep and progressive
FREq (Iboga Records - Denmark/Australia) has become highly regarded in the Australasian progressive/trance scene due to the success of radio playback, record releases and touring performances, such as; Rainbow Serpent Festival, Outback Eclipse (Australia), Sound Furnace4 & 5(Tokyo/Nagoya Japan), Earthdance (Melbourne), Alpine Unity (Castle Hill) and peek time sets at five Gatherings (Canaan Downs/Takaka, Nelson) - to name a few. The first successful FREq Album, ALLOYS, was released on Positive Ion Records, New Zealand and was backed with a 12” EP on Euromedia, Germany in 1997.The second FREq album was released on Iboga Records in 2004 and represents a rich journey into deep, slick, and phat progressive music. FREq is currently based at POLYGON studios in Melbourne, Australia. Active projects include collaborations and remixes with other international artists, including Antix and Sensient - as well as a host of forthcoming releases on Plusquam, Candyflip, Interzone, Iboga and many other progressive labels. www.iboga.dk
From Breaks to Tribal Progreesive all the way to Hard Techno and Psytrance
Osiris Indriya (Iboga Records, Oracle Gatherings, IOSIS Art Party - SEA) is a legend of the West Coast Underground Dance scene. He has been featured with underground artists such as Brian, Brad, and Trevor of L.A. Moontribe, Manoj of Uplift in Portland, OR, trance goddess Phoenix Olivia in Vancouver B.C., and Lorin (bassnectar) from Santa Cruz/SF, CA. Osiris has also been featured along side recording artists Human Blue (Spiral Trax, chill code - Sweden) and SunControlSpecies (Zenon, Iboga - Australia), as well as Antix, Beat Bizarre, and DJ Banel from Danish Progressive label Iboga Records where he is now an official label DJ. He is a weekly resident at Contour Night Club in Seattle for IMPULSE Thursdays. All this while playing at forest, desert, beach, and indoor gatherings, club nights, and festivals up and down the west coast, as well as internationally including the Double 6 in Kuta, Bali and Shambhala Music Fesival in Nelson, Canada. Driven to take Seattle to the next level, Osiris has been deep into creating several projects. He has teamed up with Infinite Connections to bring the best of Europe’s tribal progressive trance music and world class art to the Pacific Northwest in a series of events called IOSIS Art Parties. As co-founder of the Oracle Gatherings, he is bringing a new paradigm in a growing dance community by integrating with the Northwest’s mythical undercurrent. All this has helped inspire the release of his all original progressive and downtempo CD, "Reach Within". www.osirisindriya.com/
Live psychedelic trance
Etienne (Psybooty – PDX) the son of a French immigrant and native San Franciscan, has been writing music for almost 20 years. In that time, his progressed through metal, punk crossover, and industrial. His musical progression ultimately led him to explore Psychedelic Trance, and to create his very own unique take on that music, which incorporates the various musical genres that influenced and defined him as a composer. He has also written professionally for web movies and video game companies the likes of EA and Sierra/Vivende Universal. Etienne lists a range of influences including David Justin, Prophei, psytrip, erth, Judas Priest, Skinny Puppy, Download, Pitch Shifter, and Thrill Kill Kult. He also has many PsyTrance unreleased tracks, the track “We Come in Peace” was chosen because it is "forward" thinking and insane music.
Glitched out downtempo
Jesiah (SEA) AKA J Drizzle & the Flash Mob Bomb Squad is an egregiously pusillanimous cabal of fervid and pithecoid gagaku whose palestrian wranglings of soniferous substance will fulminate your pulse like a kusarigama to the cranium. Worth every farthing.
Heart thumping Psytrance
Spektra (Environmental Structures- SEA) hails from California. Heavily influenced by Moontribe and the global psychedelic trance family, she likes to share funky, spacey music that brings out our innermost animal freak.
Art by:
Eric Nez - The visionary mystic artist is merely a farmer of the soul, giving oneself healthy nutrients, environment, divine light and love, in order to grow ones fruit and share it with the universe. My art is both a chronicle and a stepping stone of my evolution of consciousness. Different worlds I've traveled to, powerful experiences, teachings from ascended masters, they all find a home in my work. Every painting that is offered up to the universal collective is a catalyst for transformation, Painting, was a gift given to me at an early age, my parents (an artist, and a lover of life) made sure I had plenty of tools to express myself, and work in the garden of my soul. The muses of yoga, plants, alchemy, magick, transpersonal psychology, intergalactic experiences, and the mystical all gather around my studio to whisper in my ear as I paint. My paintings are created with pencils, paint brush, airbrushes, sponges and hands. Influenced by the mystical, visionary experiences of life. This artist considers himself to be a seeker traveling the different realms translating and sharing his discoveries through the secret language of pictures. www.nez-art.com/
Julie Starling
My works speak for themselves.
I create these enegmatic and sureal portals
from my very own independant mind,
where I store, assemelate and transcend
the tides of awarness.
This world is a place of infinite possibilty.
I am a visionary artist, living being, light giver.
Illuminating paradox, documenting existance,
and seeding the goodness of the future, are my ways.
We find significance in those things that uncover our own mystery,
and keep us in the pulse of our true evolution. So,
explore these portals,
and observe yourself
through the infinite ripples of reflection.
My works will speak for themselves.
Attila Morpheus
I am.
A means to communicate and awaken
the goodness Interpreting consciousness realizing.
A cure for the disease, the rot,
the death.
Trinity.
The physical body, the ego, the energy goodness.
The way, the truth and the life. I am everywhere,
from everywhere accumilating, converting, remaining,
the immune foundation.
The power station without the ego self,
portal to states of being without sensations.
Contradicting deceptions. Portal to places no human mind
can rationalize. Try Fluctuating transcendence.
The importance of being alive.
Weave the uncomprehendable reality of existance.
The eternal now Surrounding.our. him. her. it. self. Recieve, evolve, remember.
Awaken.
Be the truth you have always been.
Vision, see what you see.
No assumptions of rightousness.
Look at that picture.
I am.
